NCAP25 Plenary: Achieving more through collaboration

The World Congress plenary brought together colleagues from across the NCAP community, to share ideas and discuss priorities for vehicle safety.

The session was opened by Global NCAP Chairman Iain Cameron, who stressed the importance of collaboration, in order to achieve more, in less time.

Global NCAP Trustee and Euro NCAP Secretary General Michiel van Ratingen facilitated the presentations, with each NCAP giving an update on their latest assessments and testing protocols. New projects were also discussed, including the assessment of Heavy Goods Vehicles and the role NCAPs can play as a catalyst for motorcycle safety improvements.

Global NCAP CEO Richard Woods thanked participants for making NCAP25 such a success and also for the interest expressed in hosting future events, which would likely be held on a biannual basis.
